FAQ
Questions for parents and students
Everything you need to know about how FinBizify works, what it covers, and when it launches.
Will my teenager actually use FinBizify?
Lessons are short, usually about 5 minutes to read, with a paired assessment right after (usually 4-5 questions to measure understanding). FinBizify will have short video explainers available. There's no homework, no grade, and no deadline like a traditional class. Each lesson details a real company that your teen already recognizes, uses that company's real publicly available data and numbers. A student's progress is visible in the web application, easily accessible within their preferred internet browser on their computer, tablet or smartphone.
How much time does it take?
Each lesson is usually about 5 minutes to read and followed by a question set (4-5 questions on average). Your teen learns on their desired schedule. There's no weekly minimum, they learn at their own pace and content doesn't expire. Some students can do one lesson a night, others can do several on a Sunday.
What ages is FinBizify built for?
FinBizify is intended for teenagers 13 and up. Students between 13 and 17 will need a parent to give consent and make a subscription payment. Any user 18 years or older can sign up and pay for a subscription on their own.
Does this affect my teen's school grade?
No. The FinBizify application is an independent platform and not affiliated with any high school. Nothing is reported to a teacher, and no score here touches a GPA.
What do I have to do as a parent?
Parents just consent for teenager to use and make a subscription payment. No assignments to hand out, no grading on your part, and no setup past creating the account. Parents will have option to see their teenager's progress and engagement in a parent dashboard.
Can I see what my teen is learning?
Yes. A parent dashboard shows which lessons your teenager finished and how they did, so you can check without having to ask them.
What does FinBizify actually teach?
Two primary subject areas: 1) how businesses operate and 2) personal finances. The business side covers business operations, marketing, accounting, strategy. The personal finances side details what a teenager needs to know, such as basics of money, how bank accounts work, and how credit card interest is calculated. FinBizify app will be continuously adding lessons throughout 2026, so content will be fresh!
Do you use real companies and real numbers?
Yes. Most lessons are built around real companies your teen actually knows and uses those companies' actual data and numbers.
Does FinBizify use AI software in its educational content?
Yes, AI software is used for content drafts. Every written article and assessment is reviewed, fact-checked, and edited by our team before publication. We don't publish anything we haven't personally reviewed and verified.
